Thanks to Everyone Who Made the Convention a Success

WOW! The POAC Convention was a wild ride! As I ambled along the hallways checking last minute things before the trip home, and reflecting on the weekend, I was very PROUD to have been a part of history! I am so very blessed and thankful to be surrounded by the talented people who helped to make our youth happy this weekend. Every child and young person I spoke with had wonderful things to say! I can not begin to thank everyone for all their hard work and apologize in advance to anyone I’m about to leave out. Just know that everyone’s hard work is appreciated. Nashville Cowboy Church Nashville Cowboy Church

Attending the Nashville Cowboy Church was a terrific experience for the bus load of youth and adults from the POAC Convention. The church meets at the Texas Troubadour Theater next door to the Ernest Tubb Record Shop near Opryland. There were around 400 people in attendance. The church is a unique blend of show business and Christian evangelism. The service is broadcast over WSM radio and the Internet reaching an audience of around a million listeners. The pastor of the church and leader of the service is Dr. Harry Yates.
